Settings for an indoor/auditorium scene. Can't Post

Hello,
Next Tues I am setting up for a short awards scene inside an auditorium.

There will be one spotlight on a presentor/mc as he stands behind a podium and announces the winner. End scene.
There are expected to be wide shots and then medium shots.
Can someone reccommend which settings to put the XL1 on?
Thanks!

I would use manual exp mode and use zebras. You should experiment with zebra setting BEFORE the shoot.Try 95% and set so hilites on cheek, forehead
manual gain
try to white balnce(manual) before show and setup on a preset
if the wide and mediums are going to be too contrasty fix in post
keep face exposed proper.
before the show test (lighting and sound)will be critical
