It may be that you're overthinking it... I have one of my GL-2s on a SteadiCam JR (without monitor), all I did was use the "normal" GL-2 starting point and do a little offsetting. Since I wanted a large battery, I think I went a peg forward. I run with the standard lens, a BP-945, and a VL-10Li light without much difficulty, though I've decided re-tune and go to the little 3-watt light and maybe the wide-angle. (The big light does tend to make it a bit top-heavy) Stop worrying about the Starting Point and focus on the set-up video. By the end you can make on-the-fly adjustments without a manual, pencil or calculator because you'll get the hang of how it balances and what makes what happen. The results may be magical, but the set-up isn't. I'm not sure if the monitor is an asset or a liability when using the GL-2, I just tweaked in a little offset and opened the LCD. ______________________________________________________________ Currently on a loaded 2.5GHz G5 dualie/5GB/1TB internal RAID/dual 19" monitors.
