What is the best way to sell a used Canon XL1s camera? I have one plus the accessories that is like brand new with probably less than 10 hours of use plus a 1.6X extender lense thats only been used a few times. Everything is in mint condition just like when I bought it. I think my best chance to sell it would be to have someone look at it in person and see how great of shape its in, but everyone interested are too far away. Is there a way where a Canon dealer could appraise it or authenticate its condition that would convince people what I am saying is actually the condition its in? I guess basically I am asking for suggestions or guidance on how to get a fair price on a great camera? If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it. Or if you knew how much cameras depreciate? I paid over $4400 for my camera kit and extra lense from an authorized Canon dealer and just want to know about what I should expect to get in return? Does anyone know if places would take trade ins on used cameras because I am going to buy a GL2 if I sell this?
