XL1 OVERHEATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????? Can't Post

I am using XL1 in studio enviroment. After about 1 hour with lights switched on when the room gets warmer but not very hot, the cam refuses to switch to rec mode! Eject message flashes in the viefinder. When I take tape out and put it in again it is fine for another few minutes. Is my camera foulty or is it something what I should expect from it. Anyone out there with simular problem?
