XL1 camera problems. Can't Post

Need Help. When taping an event sometimes XL1 camera the split my image into two horizntal bars. When the image is played back on a playback device, it is divide by horizonatal bars - showing the image I recorded and another image.However, this does not happen all the tine, just every now and then. Plese inform me, if someone out there have a solution

The first thing would be to clean the heads. You can buy head cleaners at most places that sell DV tapes. You may also be running into old time code if the tape has been recorded on before. Just like VHS, its not a bad idea to blank out the tape before you record on it.
