XL1 update?	Can't Post

I've been told that the progressive scan feature on the Xl1 is not as good as expressed. Does anyone know if there is an XL2 on the horizon? Ive been holding out for some time in buying the xl1 thinking that it still cant be the best after the 3 yrs or whatever its been out.........thanks for any input..

He spoke to a video marketing manager who claims the official word from Canon is still that the "XL2 is a vicious rumour that has been spreading basically since the XL1 first came out...!" Canon officially at least is neither confirming or denying development of the XL2.
