XL1 vs GL1 Can't Post

So is there a better picture from teh XL1? I am assuming there is. I purchased a GL1 two days ago. At first I didnt like it much compared to my VX2000 that I sold, but after using it I grew to really like it a lot. The lens is great, the colors rich, and teh frame mode is nice. I really want a pro look camera for what I do - Every two weeks I film a 90 minute feature and need osmething that looks pro as well. I ordered a XL1 yesterday and am returning teh GL1 - Does the XL1 have any improvements picture wise than the GL1? How about low light? Is the XL1 better than the GL1?
Thanks
Steve

The XL is a much better cam than the GL though they are remarkably similar. Of course, the lens is much nicer though a good photographer can get a lot out of either system.
Besides ergonomics, audio is the biggest improvement between the two cams (or for that matter the Sonys and JVC). The stock mic on the XL is best of the group. The AGC on all the cams are good (or extremely good), the XL's manual mode is much better than the GL's. I would recommend getting a lightwave system isolator and mic shock mount as you can distinctly hear hum in very quiet rooms. The mic shock mount works better with the system isolator attached to the cam.
The cam's pro look can be a problem. In areas that are sensitive about photography it has that very professional look about it. The GL and the VX both are much less intrusive.
