XL1 vs JVC DV500 Can't Post

I'm currently evaluating whether to purchase the XL1 or JVC DV500 for professional use. I'm looking for feedback in the areas of reliability and ease of use in stressful scenarios (like weddings or journalism) or anything else you think is relevent in the decision process. Many thanks.

Re: XL1 vs JVC DV500 Can't Post

they are 2 different camera's ... 6 1/2 lbs vs 12-14lbs .. sits on shoulder vs hand /shoulder .....
JVC will take PRO accessories = $$$ .... XL will take consumer accessories =less $
if for PROfessional use i would go JVC
if simi pro use -the XL ...
if personal use -the XL ...
at some point you budget will come into play ! how much do you want to spend ...and what accessories do you want?
