XL1 won't turn on	Can't Post

hey gang-

I found there boards looking for help on my XL1 - it's a few years old and it's suddenly stopped turning on at all. Yesterday the red light blinked a few times and went off when I was trying to turn it on, and now I can't get any sort of response out of it. I've tried different batteries, A/C power, I changed the clock battery - nothing. Is there any kind of secret reset switch? Has anyone had this happen to them before? How much does Canon service charge to fix it?

Send it to Canon and they will give you a repair cost. The standard "maintenance" cost is about $250.
