XL2 Shipping? Can't Post

http://www.normancamera.com/shop/SearchResults.asp?ProdStock=9549a001

I might be a newbie, but keep in mind that though this promises to be the best Canon to date I am convinced that canon builds the XL line with the intention of marketing more expensive lenses to you as you become more sophisticated in your production needs.

I like them, but what do I know -- I have only the limited use and the VX1000 to compare it to.

Be the judge for yourself.

IF ANYONE HAS EXPERIENCE USING ANY XL MODEL IN MAKING DV FEATURE FILMS or MUSIC VIDEOS WITH HIGH PRODUCTION VALUES, PLEASE EMAIL ME.

Actually. I suspect that most users of the XL series do not buy the additional lenses being content to use tha standard lens and perhaps a WA adapter. The old Hi8 L2 actually may have had more Canon lenses offered for it. However, a number of folks do buy the additional lenses for their specific needs. Options as befits a system camera.
