XL isolator Can't Post

Is anyone else having any problems with the connection between their evf and the camera due to the Lightwaves XLisolator stretching the cable to it's max? Are their cable extensions out there? Also, I'm looking to find a PAL body by itself, since I called Canon and found out that the lenses are interchangeable with the formats. Apparently for shooting in Europe, all you need is standard voltage adapter (nothing fancy) and the cameras are built with voltage converters.

I think they want you to have MM-XL1 too -->Re: XL isolator Can't Post

While Lightwave does not tell you this, I think they want you to have the MiniMount (MM-XL1) with the SI too. I don't have the SI and you have to mount the MM upside down and cattywumpus to keep the cable from being stretched too much. That also makes it tough to put Equalizer on too without SI.
Does the Equalizer work? Yes. It cuts down on wind noise considerably, but does not elminate all wind noise. Its still impressive (and scares the hell out of the dog).
