Zebra Patterns? Can't Post

I have both a XL1s an GL2. Both have the zebra set a 90%.

When I shoot outdoors, do I want to eliminate the zebra pattern entirely from the subjects face, or is a little pattern OK?

Should I asjust the zebra setting to 80 -85%?

Any difference shooting indoors?

At 90% you may want to eliminate all zebra except for perhaps the small shiny bald spot on the forehead, but that depends on the visual effect you want to achieve for the shot. Practice and expirement to see what you get with different lighting, skin colors, and complections, and go with what works for you.
