calibrating the gl2 viewfinder... Can't Post

Is there any way to calibrate the viewfinder on the gl2 so that what I am seeing throgh it is what is going to appear on the tape for sure?

thanks

In my humble opinion - no. Think of it - what you see in the viewfinder, what you see on the GL2's pop out monitor and what's on tape are three different things - quite unalike.

Then, when you boil everything down and work up your magic, what you see on the editor and what you see on the computer monitor and what you see on an NTSC screen are completely different things again.

Amidst all this confusion - the answer is probably NO, if you're talking precise framing lines.

Experience with your equipment and it's varying lenses will be your best calibrator.

Good luck
