camera shoe mount for microphones Can't Post

Hi folks,

I just got the Beachtek XLR adapter. Before I had the MA-300 for my GL-2.
With the MA-300 I had the ability to mount the microphone directly on the device.
Now, with the Beachtek, this is no more possible.

That's why I search an adapter that allows me to mount the microphone on the camera.

QUESTION:
Do you have experience with this tiny mount?

Thank you very much and

Greetings,

Laurent

In the US that adapter is known as a "hot shoe adapter" with threads to accept 1/4 inch x 20 thread mounts and (I believe) 3/8" x 16 thread mounts.

Porter's Camera http://www.porters.com in Chicago sells these adapters. Azden microphone manufacturers http://www.azdencorp.com may also sell replacement hot shoe adapters for their line of microphones.

Both web sites make take some time to find the specific product.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply! One more question:
Des it make sense to use it? I mean, I'll use it to fix a microphone adapter on it. That's what it is designed for, right?

Tx,

Greetings,

Laurent
