digital dropouts and dead pixs Can't Post

My GL1 has been having digital drops outs at random times. The footage is unusable. I have two GL1's and both have given me problems at one time or another.
I also have a dead pixel and it goes to tape on one camera. Are other people having these same problems?

You need to clean the heads. Most will say don't use tape HEAD CLEANERS I would say the same as well. The same thing happend to me this weekend when I was doing a test before shoting, what I did was put the cam, in vcr mode and FF>> the tape for 10 sec. then Rew the tape and the head got uncloged. Give it a try always make a record test before shooting and review the tape and see if you get black lines if so do what I did.
