head clogs on XL-1	Can't Post

I've had trouble and lost material on several occasions with head clogging on my XL-1. I'm using Sony mid grade tape. Anyone else have this problem? Suggestions? My TRV-900 won't let me shoot when there is a clogged head but the XL-1 does, much to my displeasure.

Nope. I have not heard many problems with this unless you are swapping tape brands. I usually use Sony ME tapes without problems.
