monopods and tripods with the same QR shoe Can't Post

Anyone have suggestions on a brand/model of monopods and tripods that uses the same quick release shoe?

I'm tired of unscrewing and screwing the QR on and off when i switch from tripod to monopod and vice versa. I would like to be able to just pop back and forth without having to "screw" around with anything.

thanks!

I like Bogen/Manfrotto. You can put the quick release shoe on any product with a 1/4" threaded stub. I have the one on my Bogen tripod and then a second which I normally user on shoulder mount.

There are some quick-release adapters on the market that mount on a standard non quick-release tripod. They could be use on both a monopod and conventional tripod. I do not have make-model numbers at hand, but I beleive Bogen offered one, as did Sunpak or Sima. Probably not great for heavier camcorders.

the plate is connected to the camcorder using a small screw - just like with miller and vinten tripods
