LOL! Bob, thanks for the laugh! Hope all is well. : : OK, I know Banned Bob won't think it's worth it, but what about putting this new DVD burner inside the box and making it easy to make a DVD-R? : It's a great deal! I would assume it works just like the Kron DVD burner (except about 40% of the speed), and if so, what better addition to the great little Avio? Edit your video, spend a half hour or so adjusting the DVD settings and -BINGO- the next afternoon it'll spit out a ready-to-play DVD! The kids will love to be able to see themselves with the beautiful clarity of the DVDs! : : Bob, I don't want to buy an outboard DVD burner for the same amount of money (like the Panasonic unit) unless it's pretty seamless to use. I'm a hobbyist, and don't have time to get up to speed on PC based systems, so I want easy to use! Thanks! : The Panasonic units are real complicated. Put the DVD in, press RECORD, then press STOP. The tricky part is after you've recorded all you want to record, you have to push 3 more buttons to finalize the DVD and wait about 4 minutes. A little much of a strain for us aging video guys, but no one said it would be easy. : I've pretty much mastered the complexity, and have used the stand-alones as a primary tool in a relatively new venture that's grossed somewhere over $12,000 on 5 weekends. I'd tell you more, but it's a company secret. The boss would kill me if I told, and I don't believe in suicide. : Have fun with it Greg!
