yes I did it you need a good pioneer burner, i use the 09, with dual layer
and u need the arabesk 2.2 software, open up the hard drive and pull down the cable and replace it with a dual cabl eone for the burner and the other end for the hd and its about 80 bucks for the software

As Betamax indicated there is a way to have your Avio burn DVDs (you likely know that we have both a trade-in program to move up to a unit with the internal DVD drive as well as new Avio units with DVD installed)

But to get DVDs produced from your current Avio, you can:
1. Use an external DVD burner
2. Have a DVD burner professionally installed (with the extra RAM, new OS). Two of our resellers are offering this - send me a direct email for contact info.
3. Install your DVD drive as Betamax has suggested - you will need to order the DVD Arabesk 2 software from your Casablanca dealer to author the DVD menus.
