Casablanca backing up	Can't Post

I have a Casablanca Classic and backup to a DVD-RAM cartridge on a LaCie hard drive using Heimdall v1.1 software. This works fine as long as the Casablanca hard drive does not exceed 20GB, but it goes haywire with a Casa 40GB drive.
Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

Are both hard drives SCSI or is the 40 an EIDE drive with a SCSI adapter? If you are using the Heimdall, I have found that as long as you stay with a true SCSI interface all around, things work just fine, but if you try to use the EIDE drives, the results can be unpredictable. I hope this helps!
