Cassie classic 040 upgrade Can't Post

I understand there is an up grade processor chip for the 040 to
a 060. Is it possible to get one, new or used at a good price
and be able to install it myself? I already know about the
memory chips and have installed 32 megs myself and plan to go to
64 megs soon.

Yes, you can do this. In fact, a few years ago, when MSUS began upgrading these for $1500, my 6-year-old daughter made a video of how to do it. It's pretty easy.
