Encoding video Can't Post

Hi,
I use the Prestige to edit. We want to put demos on our
website. Is it possible to get a video edited on the Prestige
onto my computer?

Yes. Buy a capture card and capture the video as it plays from Prestige.

Yep - just like Bob said. How's it going Bob?
If nothing else, get a cheap capture card (bundled or unbundled with cheap video editing software). You can then use that software to encode to WMV, RM or Quicktime format. You can also use something as simple as Windows MovieMaker that comes with more recent Windows operating systems that will allow you to encode to WMV format.

OK. I am really bad about computers. Exactly what do I do with a capture card? I have a really nice computer and I have Vegas Software but I have not figured out how to use it!!

This worked for me.

Check out the Osprey line of capture cards. I have found that some 'cheap' capture cards drop frames. Windows Media encoder is a free download and can do the trick for WMV.
