I am getting out of the video production business, and have the following Casablaca Non-linear editor and accessories for sale:
(1) Casablanca 060 with 3 seperate 9 gig drives
Does not have DV option, but is upgradeable. This unit was purchased new at the end of March, 1998 from Technical Industries in Nashville, TN. All drives have their own individual Casablanca sleds, and all drives currently have version 2.5 of the Cassie software running on them. I have version 2.7.8, but never installed it as version 2.5 always filled my editing needs. This is the same reason that I never bothered to get the 3.0 software. This unit is easily upgradeable should the purchasing party chose to do so.
(1) Panasonic CT1383Y 13" Professional Video Monitor
Also, I am tossing this in to sweeten the deal:
(2) 10 foot TecNec Broadcast Video Cables (one is BNC - BNC, and the other is BNC - RCA(M))
(2) pair of RCA Cables (for cassie audio)
(2) Casablanca Demo/Instruction tapes (and all paperwork that came with the Cassie: instruction manuals, etc.)
The Casablanca has seen very little usage since its purchase, approximately 15 short (less than 30 minute in length) projects.
Everything that you will need to get started editing is included in this lot (with the exception of a camera and VCR). All together this lot of equipment cost me well over $7000 (almost $8000) when purchased in March of 1998. Therefore, I am asking $5500 plus shipping for this equipment. $5500 is a little less than what is still against (loan) this gear, so there is not a lot of room for movement in the price; also, I wouldn't be selling it, if I didn't owe the money and need to pay the loan off (this should tell you that it is a very nice editor!).
