Hi Kelly, 1) Don't know. Although for stuff like animations by Digital Hotcakes and some of the Digital Juice JumpBacks, one can use "Disc Transfer" and load those clips directly in via their DVDs (which usually contain them in an AVI format). Not sure about the Editor's Toolkit, that might require one to install their "Juicer" loading software. I would call Digital Juice directly and ask them or contact Macro's tech support and ask for Bruce - he may have the answer as well. Final thought, you could look at these three software offerings from Macro which contain some similiar type of stuff for general use: http://www.casablanca.tv/...&primarylinkID=2 http://www.macrosystem.de/...s_splitxwedding.html http://www.casablanca.tv/...;tertiarylinkID=1520 2) I use PhotoStudio to create movement and pans with my photo montages. The key to this, is to scan in your images into your computer (old photographs need to be in a larger file size vs. say, shooting the pics with your camcorder's photo mode), then just output via a memory card and load into your Cassie. Then, bring-up PhotoSudio and grab these photos and then apply the "Animation" feature to them. On the downside for now, you have to wait for each animation to render before proceeding to the next - which can take a couple of minutes. This will be corrected in the next version of this software, but for now, have something else you can work on (box art on your computer, etc.) while you're applying these animations. As far as the layering (it's early, so I'm not sure I'm following your question right), but, I would think you could acheive whatever it is you want by using "PIP Studio" or by simplying laying down a longer crossfade between the two shots. John
