Removable hard drive caddy Can't Post

Has anyone had the removable hard drive caddy fitted? Any problems or did it solve the existing ones?

Re: Removable hard drive caddy [In reply to] Can't Post

I have found a way to solve the hard drive sled problem for under 35$
I went outpost .com and purchaced the PMD-96i-BLK kit & the extra tray 9for a 2nd drive.
Works great but you need to drill a few holes in the top of the Avio and fasten it with some screws for stability.
Also if you can find a longer drive cable you can attach it towards the front of the Avio for ease of swapping drives.
The kit comes in white and black, also has a built in fan to keep it cool. Only problem that I have seen is the fan adds a little extra noise to the room and you have a key to keep up with to lock the drives in place.
Hope this helps
Chris
