Snowy picture on recorded tape? Can't Post

I had just recorded something on a blank tape, and when I went to play it the picture was snowy in certain parts, or half the picture was snowy. I tried cleaning the VCR heads, and I also used the tracking button, but neither of them seemed to work.
The question I have is, if I put my tape into another person's VCR, will the snowy picture still be there?

Re: Snowy picture on recorded tape? Can't Post

The only work around I have scene is to check and see if the picture is good when you view it right from the camera. If it is you are in luck. I would run it into a computer and copy it from the computer to a VCR which usually will make the problem disapear. A hint here if I am making copies I go from my camera into my computer and copy from the computer. This method will give you better copies as in the computer your are in essence digitizing the picture and do not loose as much deffination in your copies.
Hope this helps.
