Taking you Casablanca on a plane Can't Post

Hi,
Do any of you ever take your Casablanca on a plane? Do you place it on a lugage and let it go underneath or carry-on? I have a laptop, a GL2 camera and a $5000 of Casablanca, only one carry on. What would you do? TIA
Gilbert

Carry a carrying case onboard with the laptop (with essential CDs & power) and the GL2 (with several tapes and power) inside; and ship the Casablanca UPS (insured for $5K) to the destination to arrive ahead of me; and pack the excess (read that: easily replaced) computer and camera accessories in the checked baggage.
