Weird Email	Can't Post

Am I the only one who received an Email from David Slone about his new ministry? While I will support his endeavor in spirit and prayer, I am a little uncomfortable with the way in which I was contacted, and will not be sending in my check. Aw, come on ... cut him a little slack ...
I'm sure he knew he'd have at least some negative feedback from the "mass marketing" ... but remember ... the past few years for him have been marketing and hype. It's a difficult transition for him to go from hard selling into gentle persuasion. Yes, it would have been a little nicer to have simply announced his intentions and then offered to send a free videotape to anyone interested ... I suspect that will probably happen next. Then later contact those he felt were good friends with a personal appeal.
In any case, it's not an easy road for him.

I felt that it was "inapropreate". This is the same comment he e-mailed my wife after my dealership was terminated. She sent this "godly" person a post indicating that things were going to be very difficult for us and our five special needs children....so what goes around comes around...as far as I'm concerned...the hustle is non-profit...except for the free money some stupid people will be duped into sending david and his family.
To the three people who left MSUS w/ David...they got what they deserved....left out.
He better be heading for McD's for a real job.

You want money... You get a JOB. Not ask for hand outs. I am by far not a "jesus freak"... to each their own... But when you have families and "responsibilities" the lord isn't going to make sure you have food on your table.. it'll be just something for you to believe in like Santa Claus... Sure it sounds great and the big picture seems so grand.... But the hype is all it is.
I commend him for the work I heard about with Brazilian kids or something to that extent... I think it's very nobel and genuine... But I spent a lot of money buying effects packs left and right and now have an Avio that cost more than my Canopus Storm2 setup... I gotta make the money back on those before giving it away.

hate me if you want... I'm just speaking my mind.
