I have an SC100e (Europe Model. The Quality of picture is excellent - the features are easy to use but a little limited.
You can connect the Camcorder to PC in several ways - you will need some sort of capture card for the PC - they can vary in cost - to make use of the DV capabilities I would suggest a DV Card. (The DPS Spark or DV300 board from Pinnacle). You need quite a bit of Disk Space to capture the video - 1Gig per 5mins appx.

I OWN A SONY DCR-SC100, I DIDNT GET A MANUAL WITH IT AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO WORK IT MORE,LIKE FOR INSTANCE: HOW DO I GET TO USE THE TITLES, AND WHAT IS LASOR LINK,AND HOW DO I HOOK IT UP TO MY PC,AND IS THERE NIGHTVISION OR NIGHT SHOT ON IT, IF ANYONE CAN ANSWER MY QUESTIONS PLEASE EMAIL ME AT J642MO@AOL.COM
