canon x1s /sony radio mike/ cassie kron

using the above kit i find my kron does not recognise the audio
mix from my canon xls cam. i can monitor the input mixed signal
to kron its ok but playback from kron is just the one stereo
channel.i have changed the stereo input to stereo 2 on kron but
no luck.this problem is only with the canon xls. from my jvc 500
and my sony p150 everything is ok.i have also tried changing
the output signal both my source sony dcr 11 and sony dx10000
and also direct from the canon camera. seems that the kron only
recognises 16 bit audio and not 12 bit, as the canon records in
when sound is mixed with the sony radio mike. can anyone out
there help.
