cassie 040 chip replacment Can't Post

Is replacing my old cassie 040 processor chip with the newer 060 chip as simple as unplugging the old chip from the receptacle then plugging in the new one or is there more to do like software installing or reprogramming the machine? Of course I now to unplug the thing before I start!
