Just wondering as I am not familiar totally with Casablanca...is it compatible with any shvs vcr? I have a JVC HR S3500U SVHS. And I have a Sony Trinitron KV-9PT50 tv with video and audio inputs as a monitor.

The Cassie is completely compatible with such a vcr. It will accept or output both composite or S-vid signals. You're Sony TV would work just fine with the Cassie.
