music mixing	Can't Post

I have a twenty minute video with music as the predominant track. I have three short sequence of lip-sync where I need to fade the music under, where I can still here it, but can hear the on-camera person loud and clear. Then I want to fade the music back up as it continues to its conclusion. Could you please tell me how to do that? Preferably, I do not want to make a scene of the scenes prior to the lip-sync segment, because later, I may have to go back in and add to or rearrange those scenes. Thanks!
