smart edit audio Can't Post

I need to know how to add music in the background of the camera track and be ablle to fade it in and out as needed. I am using an avio pro DV with newly instaled smart edit.
I am doing a company video with testimonials and music background
Thanks

Re: smart edit audio Can't Post

Simply record (import) audio from a line level source into your Avio via the Audio Record/Edit screen. This will create a new audio sample. Then go to the Audio Mix screen, select one of the tracks to place your audio (beginning with the workbox in the storyboard) and click on Insert. This places your music into the audio mix window. Then make sure that music track is selected and adjust the Fade sliders to fade in and/or out. You can adjust the volume of the music track by sliding the volume control.
Happy Editing!
