using same software on 2 of my krons	Can't Post

Does anyone know how to put the same software on both of my two krons. i have tried removing and fixing the hard drive from one
and installing all software on using the second kron fine. But upon fixing it back in
the 2nd kron it seems to recognise a different serial no and
wont work. i dont really want to purchase another very expensive
load of software when the two krons sit side by side.

Derek,
I understand not wanting to purchase a second lot of software but unfortunately what you are trying to do would be illegal.
There is good news though, it would seem that DJROCK and his friend Pat may specialise in this sort of thing so my recommendation is, check out their web site (which goes around in circles) and if you are game send your hard earned cash to them and let us all know if you actually receive anything worthwhile for your trouble.

There is nothing illegal, unethical or even immoral about any of the modifications or upgrades performed by DJROCK.
Instead of posting a valid rebuttal you (BOB) have made a libelous statement then censored DJROCK so he is not able to reply to your condemnations.

This statement you made is an act of libel:

"don't forget that this whole DJROCK thing is illegal, too !!!"

To add to this insult it appears 'Banned Bob' has posted the above libelous comment under someone else's identity. The email Steve@Steve.com belongs to a Steve Perillo of New Jersey.

LIBEL - Published material meeting three conditions: The material is defamatory either on its face or indirectly; The defamatory statement is about someone who is identifiable to one or more persons; and, The material must be distributed to someone other than the offended party; i.e. published; distinguished from slander.

even though i agree with all of you ,i have legally purchased two
krons and legally paid for software, why cant i do i as want with
it? i have now given up in finding an answer and have just given
�700 to my cassie supplier for somehing i already have!
namely smart edit v3 and arabesk dvd ,spicerack, what a con?
i am sure all this cash is being used by the suppliers to invest into furthering the good of the cassablanca given over by us guinee pigs. do those who edit on computers get the same problem. i mean ! whose ever heard of having to hand over �70 just install a few fonts, are they not supplied with computers?

Hello Derek,
I do not know if there is such an offer from other distributors - but in North America, MacroSystem US offers a multiple software discount, 40% off your 2nd and successive software title for additional editors.

Although a good number of folks get around it, yes - there is copyright law that indicates you purchase computer software for a specific machine and should (legally) only use that software on one unit. You are authorized to make a back-up copy but should purcase a 2nd copy or in the case of institutions, a site license or lab pack for multiple installations of the same software title.

if you buy two windows PCs, you have to buy the software for both systems or you have to buy a multiple license software
if you buy two cars, you have to buy the extras for both cars

Some person or persons at 209.161.242.113 [DNS query for 209.161.242.113 failed: Queried domain does not exist] posing as Pat and using an email address of pscialdone211@rogers.com [an invalid recipient according to fep01-mail.bloor.is.net.cable.rogers.com] posted the following:

Whoever posted this calling yourself Pat, I hope you don't get offended, but your ignorance (look it up if you don't know what it means) of the internet and this century's technology is showing again -- not to mention your ability to read. Obviously you haven't considered that at all. The IP address it was posted from is registered in Germany. Just do a simple lookup ... even YOU can find that out -- that's how we know that YOU are posting under several different names.
You can't hide your IP address. The Earthlink servers I'm on onto typically assign me one of the addresses of 24.225.50.246 or 24.136.173.4 -- always starting with 24 (I think it's a Mindspring trunk that RoadRunner, Earthlink, and AOL all rent from Time Warner Cable).
This is all very obvious and very verifiable.
However for the rest of you ... this brings us to the point that "Pat" is making --
Has HE committed this offense???
According to his post LIBEL:

"Pat" wrote: "you (BOB) have made a libelous statement then censored DJROCK" and "'Banned Bob' has posted the above libelous comment under someone else's identity" -- none of which is true and it's provable -- that's defamatory!.

"Pat" first writes "you (BOB)" which could have directed at any of the millions ... but then he writes, "'Banned Bob'" -- which is obviously a very exclusive term that applies to ME!

Three strikes, Pat!
Now all we have to do is find out the true identity of "Pat" and he's OUT!

As far as I know, all messages posted by Steve have been posted by me, Steve. Yes I am from Germany. So what?
I am not Bob and I am not Pat. :-)
I am just a Casablanca user who is happy with his equipment.
And yes, I don't believe in 16 digit miracle codes and I do not believe in a tutorial mode... ;-)

So now we've firmly established who we are, Steve. Does anyone know who this libelous "Pat" person is? The only thing we know for sure is that he works for DJROCK and is one brick short of a load ... once posting as pscialdone211@rogers.com under the name "Patrick" and inquring about his own products, then later posting a defense of his company under the name "Pat" at the same email address.
I don't know, Steve, but maybe he committed libel against YOU, too, by calling you "BOB" ;-)
Maybe he'll just disappear -- if we're lucky!
