I love macro. I have an old manual 50mm f1.8 on extender tubes, a makinon 135mm f2.8 macro and reversing rings and close-up lenses.

I've had my eye on the Canon 100mm macro lens.... but I wonder how much time I will actually have to switch lenses. So far, I've just been shooting with the 24-70 and cropping in post to get a really tight shot of the ring. I realize it's not quite as detailed, but it's a trade off - I save time on the shootl, which in some cases is the priority.
