Bridge is Windows Explorer plus much more....

You can use it to run Batch Processes with photoshop.... like adding image vignette, adjusting saturation, B/W conversion, or maybe adding your watermark on top of the images-- whatever you have "actions" doing. If you are unfamiliar with the "actions", you need to learn to use them to streamline your processing.

I also like Bridge's file naming and ranking features. Hmmm, you probably didn't understand what I suggested the other day about ranking the images now that I think of it. While reviewing with Bridge, you can assign a number of stars (0 to 5). It also allows you to view only images with a certain rating or better. This way, while album building, I am quickly chosing from my best images.

Hope that helps some.... maybe now I can start learning to use Vegas' Media Manager too.

Thanks for the info guys! Didn't know if it was anything useful, but obviously it is. I still like the old days when there were real instruction manuals you could sit down and read rather than "help" built into the program.

Julie,

Just curious ... did you upgrade or just find a good deal on CS2. I have Elements and REALLY need to find a good deal to upgrade.

Thanks
