I purchased it probably 4 months ago... but haven't had time to watch it... just sits there and collects dust :( if your interested I'll sell it to ya at half the price i paid. I got it for the same reason you sound interested just been way to busy to dedicate a whole weekend to it.

I have only seen the first DVD and I have to admit that there a lot of some good/general info which you may want to tap into (color space, historgrams, printing, etc). I’m really looking forward to watching next 4 (or 3 since the last one I believe contains exercise material only). But if you expect to be shooting $6K weddings after watching this crash course I would look into investing in actual training.

I will scan those over the weekend and let you know what I found.

I just got them and watched most of the first disk. It took a while to get into it but I have picked up several little tips from the first video.

I hope to watch the rest of them this week. It comes with a data cd as well which I haven't had time to look at.

I like the fact he describes the technical aspects behind the sensors, how they record information. I tried a couple of the tips he mentioned, going to watch the series then go out on a shoot day.

I took some upgrading one on one with a professional photographer in the biz for 25 years. He was great but didn't know too much about digital. This series is all about digital, so coupled with the background in film photography it seems good so far.

PM me to remind me if you want to know more after I've gone through them.
