For $40 I might even give it a try. But what happens if someone
steals it? I guess the rental place will want you to pay for it.

ha ha yeah that would really suck! I'm not sure if I would want a rented lens for a wedding anyway, but to rent for the weekend and take some photos would be fun. I think when it is rented the deposit is the cost of the lens.

Yeah that's what Merkle Camera did with me too when I rented something now come to think of it, they wanted to make sure that there was enough on the card or in the bank to cover the cost of the item to replace it.

I think I read on Henry's outlet page (they do rentals now by the way) that the cost of the deposit is the cost of the item. Maybe I remember incorrectly, that's quite possible these days!

I can't tell if Ryan was the fellow I was talking to - were his shots from above? That's where he went to shoot from I think. I'm terrible with names but I think that is him, nice fellow.

And yes, never mind the joke. lol. I just saw the Blades of Glory movie today, there was lots of jokes like that for one day. I was cracking up in the theatre, I don't think anyone else found it quite as funny as I did.
