Bought the Nikon d70s... High school senior portraits anyone???

Hi All... through alot of asking around... I finally settled on the Nikon d70s as a kit with a lens... plus I purchased the Nikon 24-120mm f 3.5-5.6G ed-if af-s vr zoom-nikkor lens per a suggestion from a good friend... My thought is a marketing one.. I already do wedding and event videography.. and it is simple enough to market myself in that industry- although the competition is fierce... so the business is slow-- Because of my amatuer level, I am marketing to the lower budegeted brides... and offering my services for the day.. and leaving the printing and album making up to them ... 2 ways... by posting thier photos online AND giving them a CD of all the images for them to print out themselves... Since the wedding and event photo side will take a while to get the word out that I do this too... I want to market to the local high schools in the area for senior portraits.... doing on location shooting only ( b/c I really dont have a studio set up for inside stuff.. and I think on location would be more personalized) a few q's.... 1. I have NO IDEA what the price range of these kinds of shoots are... ?? can you give me a heads up ? do I do my "normal" rate of $75 per hour?? 2. I like my idea of just handing the CD of image to them... cuts out the middle man... and allows me to not have to charge for tax.. since their is no "product" only the service (without the actual prints) again... I am trying to think of a reasonable rate to charge without ticking off the other local photographer who does the senior portraits... 3. when do I market to them ... and when do the photos need to usually be into the schools for the yearbook deadlines... my initial thought is that it is almost the end of school... I should make up some postcards and have them handed out to the junior class before school is out??!! thanks for any and all answers!
