Camera Tripod with Extension Arm Can't Post

Hi everyone,

I am in need of one for product photography shooting directly above the product. Any recommendation? I know this may not be the right forum but I have nowhere to turn to. Thanks!!

Check B&H. Just about any tripod that says the center column will go horizontal will work. Just check the weight limit with what you want to put on it. There's a ton on there.......Tabletop models and fullsize.

I just got my tripod/head today from B&H.

A lot of reviews complain about the weight, but after lugging around my video tripod all day, this thing is feather light! It feels very sturdy. I'll be mounting a 20D with a 2.8 - 24/70is and eventually a 2.8 70/200is

Good luck

Laugh Yeah, no kidding.

The only photography I do is usually just walking around town, so I use my super light 3001BPRO (which doubles as my #3 video tripod), with a 468RC2 ball head. I even got the little carryinig strap made for it, for when I want to leave the tripod bag at home.

The ball head will go horizontal, but the column can also be inserted horizontally for further reach.

It's not nearly as heavy duty as the 3021, which I used to have for video, but is a very small fraction of the weight. With the center column extended, the camera viewfinder is at eye level for my wee size of 5'8"/5'9".
