It is interesting to see the photography world deal with what the videographers have always dealt with. You had your film camera forever. But with digital your camera dies after so many shots, and the technology keeps improving so you have to keep buying.

Latest rumor is an unauthorized leak from Best Buy
that the 40D will be out in September.

A new lens supposedly coming real soon is an inexpensive 18-55 kit
lens with IS, f/stops in the range of 3.5-5.6.
