I don't know much about him, but what I've read was impressive. I had also heard many good things about him in other photo forums before.

I am uncertain about what to expect from this, but he is coming by at a time when I can get to the event. It is also not too expensive and the promo suggests he will address marketing, which I need to see the most. In the end, it just seems to be my destiny to go as all things are falling into place.

Depending on which city I hit (Atlanta or Nashville), I may review him before you do.

Jeff,
I’m in the same boat. Never seen the guy before but some of the good photographers I know speak of him very well. I figured, for that money it is definitely worth a shot. I was planning on purchasing his DVD set so it would be great to get a feel for what I am up to. Looking forward to your review.

Thanks again.

I think it's probably worth attending. If I didn't have so much going on I would try to go to St Louis.

With any luck at all it will include information not related to products for sale.

If I felt that I needed to purchase something I would do my best to wait till I thought about it for at least 24 hours. Angelic

Does anyone know which hotel the seminar will be at in Nashville? I tried adding it to my cart in hopes that it would show me but it does not. I'm either going to the one in Nashville or the Chicago one.

I might be scrambling to get there, but I will certainly be there for the Gary Fong seminar on 2/7 in Nashville. Review will follow thereafter.

Anyone wanna grab a beer before or after? More likely afterwards....

Re: [Jeko] Gary Fong Tour [In reply to] Can't Post

I was definitely too tired and my brain was totally scrambled after listening to Gary for over 4h (oh man, this guys can talk) and than driving for almost 2h from NYC. Was it worth the effort? For me personally it was invaluable. For guys that are in business… I would say that the first 2.5 hours were worth every penny since his pricing/marketing strategy is nothing I’ve seen before. The other half was geared more towards self-promoting his products. There were two that I was specifically interested in (Bull’s Eye 3 and Album Creator) since both of them seemed to be great time savers. Another interesting one was the Album Designer which is nothing else but a set of most commonly used actions (with some extras). Initially I did not see any value in the product but when I started calculating the time it would take to create this set (without the extras), I figured I would rather spend the money ($99). Knowing that 1) there is really no immediate need for us to purchase anything and 2) considering that his software is being upgraded regularly I did not make the commitment. The only thing I ended up with was a set of his DVD (2-day training) he recently did in CA.

My overall impression: A-
(- simply for allowing too many questions from the audience)

That's nice to hear. Smile I'm going on the 15th and hope to learn some useful marketing strategy from him. Anyway, I like him already because he and I have "some" similarities on how we first started business. Blush
