I can totally see now what I have shot outdoors. Everyone who has rated it on the B&H site gave it 5 stars.

Yes, I have one Julie and it's excellent. Before I got it I looked around for
other reviews besides B&H and everyone else who had used it
said how nice it is.

I was doing an outdoor shoot this past weekend and really missed
not having it with. I couldn't see the LCD screen to check my
test shots for proper exposure, which resulted in them being
very underexposed - I was shooting all manual exposure and
more or less was guessing at the settings from what
little I could see in the bright sun light.
Fortunately this was just for some family
stuff but I'll be sure to bring it with for all paid shoots.
The belt clip case that it comes with is good quality and
very handy. I just wear the loupe around the neck so that it's
right handy. (It comes with a rubber string for wearing
around the neck.)

When I first got it my plan was just to take it out when I
went to the park for the outdoor formals. I did get
caught with my pants down when the receiving line
was outside right after church and I didn't have the
loupe on me so now I have it with during the shooting
of the ceremony so that, if they go outside immediately
following, I have it on me.

Julie, did you happen to see my review of the loupe?:
