Nice, Mazzy.

Care to share how you did it (body, lens)? How you got it horizon perfect?
Scan the negs or the prints? Shot at ISO 400?

The Horizon Perfekt is a Lomo 35mm panoramic camera.

Cool shots, Jason! I need to hire a shooter to do my actual videotaping, so that I can experiment more at weddings with my toys...you always post some creative stuff.Tongue That's a pretty neat camera...I've always wanted one to play with, but it's really expensive, at least over here, at $450. Are Lomo cameras prettty common over in the Philippines?

That looks like a very pricy gown. I like the 2nd image best. Would like to know how it was lit.

Mazzy, are pro wedding photogs using equipment like
film cross process and Horizon Perfekt by you?
By me I don't think there's anything like
this being used for wedding work. It's all mostly
Nikon and Canon digital, with the old guys
using film medium format.

Re: [Brackish] Horizon Perfekt Panoramic Pictures [In reply to] Can't Post

Hey Brack. Rusty is correct, it's a film camera. I used BW film - KOdak TriX400. Since it ws my first go at the camera, I opted to have the film processed first and not have it printed yet. Then I had it scanned at the lab. The lab girl was surprised that each picture ate up 2 frames.

Most of the photogs use pretty much standard equipment (DSLRs). BUt the thing is, I don't sell my services. I just tag along with a photog friend on his shoot on weekends I'm free and use the equipment I have. If he doesn't really "need my shots" I shoot film with a manual camera and lomo cams. If he's short one man and relying on me, I can't f*ck up so I bring my DSLR.

Cheers!

Pronovias from Barcelona I think.

Thanks Darren. That seat is along a corridor on one of the floors of the hotel. There were three pinlights from above which really lit up the bride but cast hard shadows on the face. WE countered that with a LOwell portable light (the one powered with a 12v battery).

Re: [RustyB] Horizon Perfekt Panoramic Pictures [In reply to] Can't Post

Thanks Rusty. :). Like I mentioned to Brack, these really are not my weddings. I feel I need to do this once in a while to bea ble to do something different and to keep from burning out.

Lomocams aren't that common. They're very niche just like in all the other parts of the world. I love the Perfekt. :)
