I'm in trouble now... Can't Post

Ok...I went and purchased PS CS3 today after playing with a demo for HDR images...it makes a nice "pop", even when just taking raw files that have different brightness adjustments to them and combining them (the raw file has much more lattitude than the converted jpegs, so I bumped the brightness by a stop, then lowered by a stop and combined the three images). Now I wanted a PS version that does HDR (was using PS7) but I...um...didn't bother to let my wife know I was upgrading. Cross your fingers that my images pop enough to ease the pain that my wife "popping" me will cause.

Any tips on how to approach it since I am used to PS7?

Um...HDR...she actually took it quite well. Granted, she has been spending a bit in the yard for landscaping, but...

I got some HDR stuff done, although I am not always happy with the result. It definitely works better using RAW files than it does just different exposures in JPG format. The new "smart mask" is wonderful in CS3, with the adjustments you can make. I am amazed at the difference in tools available compared to PS7.

Is she involved in photo or video? Or are you on your own?
