Interesting article on Lomo photos... Can't Post

I am going to post this in the Photoshop forum as well. I thought it was appropriate for this forum because of the historical perspective that it offers, something we rarely see of these days and I am a total geek and love the useless jeopardy trivia. Anyway, cool article with a fun effect.

Cool - thanks, i love those lomo photos. Rusty posted about a lomo action at action central. I've used that one a number of times before and like the effect.

Yea, thats where I first saw anything about it also. Some of the actions at action central are great. Here's 2 pics I've been playing with.

I have to clean up the separation point between the trees and the sky:

And this one from my sisters wedding:

Jason,

I am not sure why I didn't comment on these before but that second one (Standpipe) is awesome! The fade in from the vingette is killer. Is this straight from the cam or did you do this all in post processing? I am not familiar with the cams you used. Awesome work dude nonetheless.

Diggin the lomo in a big way, gonna do some delayed exposure stuff of my new pad I just moved into tonight, I'll post some images if anything decent comes out.

You're gonna get hooked on the look. Wink

It's straight out of the cam, no photoshop.

I have both the Holga 120 and the Holga 135. Although the modified holga gives interesting results, it allows you to capture the image across the sprockets (which I haven't done).

not mine but by a friend - http://jenniecastillo.multiply.com/photos/album/181/Dirty_Sprockets
