Great pics, Jason.. I would not have guessed you being a NIN fan... Did you get my email I sent to you a few days ago about a song that you used in a wedding video you posted on Azareus?

I hope you don't mind but I created a video clip inspired by you that I found on that site. You can check it out by going to my blog at www.lifeproductions.net/blog and clicking on the private viewing page... password is owens. I had a picture profile setup in my Z1 that I learned from a post that you made a few months ago but I inadvertently deleted the profile and I can't remember how setup the profile and I have not been able to reproduce it for some reason. Trying to mimic your look in post is mostly impossible.

Neat pics Jason! Still a huge listener of Pretty Hate Machine and the Downward Spiral; can't say I like his last couple of releases though, I think he's slipped a bit lyrically and musically. Saw your other post about the Cure on your site a while back, one of my all time favorite bands. Are the Violent Femmes known in your area? Finally, I thought I heard The Smiths were considering a reunion tour; would love to see that or even The Talking Heads. A video colleague of mine shot a high school reunion earlier this year, attended by Jerry Harrison of The Heads (who went to Shorewood in WI); I guess he's a down to earth nice guy and tries to avoid the spotlight. Not sure if you follow them or not, but I think he's still doing a lot of producing.

Anyway, getting off topic rambling here, but great pics as usual.

John.

Now I would never have thought you to be a NIN fan what with the tie and all. Wink

We agree on the albums though. The first two are by far the best. The succeeding ones are "not bad" I guess. But it was great that his set for the concert included a lot of the golden oldies. I never thought I'd live to see the day Closer would be sung live.

The cure concert was awesome. The VF are a long shot but I'd be sure to line up for the smiths.

Cheers!
Jason

If I wear a tie twice a year, that's a lot. For wedding work, short sleeve Rayon dress shirts for me; lightweight, don't show a drop of sweat (if you stick with the darker colors) and they stay fairly cool.

Speaking of NIN, have you heard of VAST? He's another one man "do it all" guy like Trent; check out his debut album from 1998 if you haven't already - outstanding (and just checking, iTunes has it, although you're stuck with crappy 128 bit audio - a HUGE shame in this case, as this entire CD needs to be cranked-up on your home system to appreciate the fullness and detail of the music). If you're not familiar with him, listen to "Here," "Touched," or "Pretty When You Cry." Finally, ever hear of Nitzer Ebb?

Cool!

I like NIN but can only handle them for a short period of time now. I am getting older after all. Wink

I think Massive Attack would have been a better choice.
Just a tip for next time. Wink
