Now that's HOT! Can't Post

If you're looking for an image, it ain't here.

No ... it's not Paris Hilton ... it's me. I feel like I went to a hog roast and I was the main course.

We started out shooting at the couple's house for about an hour and then it was outside by 1:00. Went around campus at the U of I for a couple of hours (ok, a little more) and the ceremony was at 5:00 ... outside. Basically from 1:00 to 6:45 we were shooting outside in 90+ degrees. Excuse me ... but didn't I once say this wasn't as physically demanding on me as video? DUH!

Granted, this was the exception, but I'm wiped out.

On the way home my daughter says, "So what time are we leaving for show choir registration tomorrow?" CRAP ... forgot all about it. So I'll get a little sleep and then we head out for 4 hours of registration for campers at our local university at about 10:30. Geez ... I hope they have the A/C working. Pirate

Re: [Sparky] Now that's HOT! [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Sparky

I feel your pain (or heat exhaustion).
Yesterday we left to go to the brides at 9am, drove for 1 hour, spent over 50 in parking throughout the day in the hottest day ....ever! I'm so glad all I had to carry around was a camera bag and not the video gear.

We didn't know there was a parade on Queen St and we got stuck in it, literally marching bands going right beside the car with the ceremony set to start in 10 minutes. I managed to drop off the photograper (main one) just a little late but others got stuck in the traffic too so it wasn't too bad and they waited for a few extra minutes for more people to show up. I went to park close and run in, only to realize I needed $7 in COINS to park. I had to park 10 min walk away and hoof it back, I got a side stitch and thought I would rather just collapse under a tree and forget the whole thing. But the day turned out well and I arrived home 13 hours later.
I'm roasted today but have to go into the studio for some client meetings.
I'm sure I"ll get to sleep sometime. :)

It was my first time doing photos opposed to video, I quite liked it but the first love is still video, there's just only so much photos can say.
