Rodo, you can take your tongue out of your cheek before it gets stretched all out of shape. Smile

Re: [Toogy] Photos from Saturdays Photo/Video Production [In reply to] Can't Post

Very nice Toogy... love them all. The one with her on the floor would be better I thnk with a crop of that chair on the right side. The one where she is looking over her flowers, whiten her eyes too! Very nice and addictive isn't it?

P.S. I just got a call from a photog who wants me to begin shooting for his studio and then just turn the images over to him for him to manipulate. While I don't want to do this all the time I would not mind once in a while to get some extra cash and to fill in open dates. Plus this won't add to my backlog.

Yep, I have done that for a local photographer a few times, pretty easy money. No processing at all.

Sole Lead.... and then turn the images over with no backlog for me. I am considering it for off season stuff and Weekday weddings.

Re: [Brackish] Photos from Saturdays Photo/Video Production [In reply to] Can't Post

I used to have the Tamron 28-75, and yes it has a focusing motor. There is a AF/MF switch you need to use.
You can see the switch in the bottom right corner of this picture

It doesn't have manual focus overide like the more expensive Canon "L" lens. But it was a sharp lens for the money.

I think the pose suggests symmetry that isn't present in the background. If the curtains were on both sides, then I think it would work better. Since it is an asymmetrical background, another pose would probably work a little better here. Also the pose makes her look a little "thicker" than she probably is, it would work better on a bride with longer arms.

This is being very, very, very picky though, I'm sure the bride likes it. Nice stuff!

I think I'd be a bit worried not having a back-up body and flash.
Any chance they could give you a loaner "just in case"?

Nope...I'm out of the loop...I keep pestering my wife for an SLR, though, and maybe someday she'll let me get one.

Interesting...I haven't heard anything but good about the 20D...I know that the 5D is supposed to be the "next thing", but at around $2k more for the body, I would have to "settle" for the 20D.
